SPECIAL CONSULATATIVE STATUS IN THE ECOSOC OF THE UNITED NATIONS

Beautiful Mind Charity has received Special Consultative Status in the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations as of July 2016. The UN-ECOSOC was established in 1945 and is one of the six main organs of the UN. It is responsible for advancing the development of economic, social and environmental dimensions. BMC was given this designation due to it's cultural charity activities and contributions. Moving forward, BMC will now work closer with the ECOSOC and its subsidary bodies. BMC will also be able to attend meetings at the UN, submit written statements and give oral presentations to the ECOSOC Committee.

지난 7월 뷰티플마인드가 UN 경제사회이사회 (ECOSOC) 특별협의지위 (Special Consultative Status)를 취득했습니다. UN-ECOSOC는 UN의 경제, 사회, 환경 분야를 관장하고 있으며 뷰티플마인드는 지금까지의 문화자선활동 공로로 특별협의지위를 인정받았습니다. 이로써 향후 UN-ECOSOC 및 산하기관과 긴밀히 협력할 수 있으며, UN 본부 회의 참석권 및 발언권을 갖게 됐습니다.
