2017 BEAUTIFUL MIND MUSIC ACADEMY CONCERT
The third Beautiful Mind Music Academy Concert held on Saturday, 22nd April 2017 was attended by a full-house audience. The collaborative efforts of our three Guest Musicians from BMMA Korea, twelve BMMA students with their teachers, four students from PRISM - St. Joseph’s Institution, and Beautiful Mind Singapore Ensemble, had together put up yet another moving and successful concert. Beautiful Mind Music Academy Story - Lu Tian Wei
Lu Tian Wei, a musically gifted teenager with autism, joined BMMA in 2016 as a violin student under Ms Lee Hyun Joo's patient tutelage. Through music, Tian Wei has grown in confidence, self-expression, and connection — learning to collaborate on stage and communicate more freely with others. From BMMA's concerts to the Singapore Performing Arts Festival, his journey showcases how music can open doors in a world that can feel closed to those with special needs.


2016 BMMA PROGRESS CONCERT
Beautiful Mind Music Academy staged a Progress Concert on 26th November 2016, 3:00 pm at the Korean Church at 21 Gangsa Road. We would like to thank our dedicated teachers, hard-working students, and supportive parents for their concerted efforts in contributing to the success of the Concert. Beautiful Mind Charity is honoured to receive the Token of Appreciation from Rainbow Centre Yishun Park School on 17 November 2016 at the school's Student Awards Ceremony, in recognition of our partnership with RCYPS since 2014. Currently three of our student beneficiaries receiving free one-on-one music lessons are from RCYPS.


Beautiful Mind Music Academy Story - Goh Jia Yun
Goh Jia Yun, a teenager with Down Syndrome, joined BMMA in 2016 for free piano lessons after years of private tuition. Guided first by Ms Bae Min Hee and later Ms Park Ji Sung, shy Jia Yun blossomed into a confident, diligent pianist who finds soothing joy in classical music. She made her debut at BMMA's 2016 SOTA concert, performed again that November, and passed her Trinity College London Grade 1 exam with flying colours.
