Renaa’s journey with Beautiful Mind Music Academy (BMMA) began in 2019. Though she came in as a Dizi player for audition, Ms. Yang Helen Hojung recognized her latent talent, transitioning her to the clarinet. This shift proved transformative; the breath control required for wind instruments significantly improved Renaa’s speech volume and overall communication. She used to speak very softly and most of the time was inaudible.

Beyond music, Renaa has developed remarkable self-discipline and poise. Her growth is a testament to the dedicated mentorship of teacher Sora. Her encouragement and affirmation during each practice had greatly boost Renaa’s self confidence.

Through various performances and participation—including the Korea Embassy Gala and the Seoul Special Music & Art Festival—Renaa has gained invaluable exposure.

We are deeply grateful to BMC for this golden opportunity that has changed the direction of Renaa’s life and all BMMA teachers who have been instrumental in Renaa’s growth, one way or another, particularly Teacher Helen, Teacher Sora, Teacher Sharon, Teacher Kang and Teacher Woo. We are also thankful to have Ms Kaede and Ms Katherin for all their strong support in all events and performances.

To all the parents in BMMA, we thank you for all the constant support and encouragement that have been given to us. To all the musical artists of BMMA, the show can carry on because of each and every one of your talent and gift.

We are profoundly grateful to BMMA for providing a platform where children with special needs can showcase their gifts and truly flourish.
